LP Battery View presents a straightforward interface for monitoring essential battery metrics, providing quick access to critical information in a user-friendly manner. Initially, users can scan the QR code located on the top of the battery to register batteries associated with their boat or kayak. It is possible to customize the labels for each battery to suit individual needs.
Selecting a specific battery displays detailed parameters, including Estimated Time Remaining, State of Charge, Voltage, Current (Amps), and Temperature at three distinct points. The Time Remaining metric reflects the duration at the current State of Charge and amperage levels, calculated as an average over the past minute. When charging, this value updates to indicate the time needed for full recharge. The current indicator provides real-time amperage flow into or out of the battery. Additionally, the app reports the status of internal solid-state switches, signaling errors if either switch is closed unexpectedly.
The third screen consolidates essential functions without unnecessary clutter. Users can register their product, access manuals, submit debugging reports, reset the battery, or power it down directly from this interface.
